The intuitive touchscreen does more than just guide you – it also provides useful tips along the way. If the extraction time is too short, for example, the screen suggests fine-tuning the grind size. When the machine needs cleaning, it guides you step by step with small animations and videos. It's truly a nice upgrade feature. You can also explore new brewing methods like Cold Brew and Cold Espresso – and even activate Dark Mode on the screen, which looks super cool!
The built-in, conical Baratza precision grinder in stainless steel has 45 different settings, giving you full control over the grind size. The grinder automatically grinds, doses, and tamps 22 grams of coffee directly into the 58 mm portafilter – the same size as the best cafés.
Coffee instantly – and perfect frothing of all types of milk
Forget about heating time, because we don't deal with that here. Just 3 seconds after you turn on the machine, you can brew your coffee. The dual ThermoJet heating system ensures both lightning-fast heating and a stable temperature of +/- 1°C throughout the brewing process.
Sage espresso machines have always been known for their silky smooth micro milk foam, and with the Auto MilQ system, you can now also froth plant-based milk like oat, almond, and soy milk. There are 8 different texture settings and the ability to adjust the temperature from 40°C to 75°C, so you can customize the foam exactly to your taste.
