Witt increases its investment in the food sector and has acquired the last 20% from the original founders, so they are now the sole owners of Teministeriet - That Scandinavian Tea.
It has been a fantastic journey since Teministeriet was founded in 2015 – it has evolved from a small shop to a café and now to delivering tea to the whole world.
The founders Kathryn Wen-i Brown and Ole Johnsen have been significant driving forces in the development of Teministeriet with a sense for Scandinavian design combined with the ancient tea traditions from the Far East. They have been focused on expanding the number of both stores, retailers, agents, and distributors – as well as the many tea lovers around the world who enjoy Teministeriet's products.
Kim Simonsen, Business Development Manager at Witt, can only thank the original founders of Teministeriet, Kathryn and Ole, for their great efforts in developing Teministeriet into what it is today – “With the new strategy focusing on the development of new markets, it became clear that Witt and the original founders did not have the same mindset for the future, and therefore I am pleased that we have found a solution that allows Witt to take over the remaining shares in Teministeriet and achieve 100% control over the company and its future development.
