The Roomba Combo 2 Essential robot is the first in the company's affordable Essential series that automatically empties its dustbin into an AutoEmpty™ dock after cleaning. The robot also provides 2x cleaning power compared to the Roomba Combo Essential, an improved bumper design for easier navigation, and the ability to recharge and resume cleaning. Roomba Combo 2 Essential is packed with essential and user-friendly features, giving customers more time to do the things they love.

Roomba® Combo 2 Essential – 2x cleaning power¹, 60 days of hands-free operation
Roomba Combo 2 Essential is designed with simplicity in mind, easy to set up, and includes all the features necessary to keep floors clean. The robot cleans everyday dirt with a 4-step cleaning system that combines 100% stronger power-lifting suction¹ with a Multi-Surface brush, a side brush, and a reusable microfiber mop. Customers can easily start a cleaning mission with a press on the robot, a single tap in the iRobot Home app, or with a quick command to a voice assistant². The robot uses special sensors to safely navigate in neat straight lines while taking advantage of its sleek, elegant design and improved bumper for easy cleaning around and under furniture.
With four suction power levels and three liquid volume settings, Roomba Combo 2 Essential effectively cleans all types of floors and meets customers' cleaning needs, whether a light or more in-depth cleaning is needed. Customers can choose pure vacuuming, which simultaneously cleans both carpets and hard floors, or they can move their loose rugs and mats for a 2-in-1 cleaning. The robot will clean for up to 120 minutes on a single charge, and when its battery is low, it will automatically return to the AutoEmpty dock to recharge, resume, and complete the cleaning task.
The AutoEmpty dock ensures a seamless cleaning experience and lets customers forget about vacuuming for up to two months, making it the ideal companion for busy households. When Roomba Combo 2 Essential completes its cleaning task, the robot automatically empties the contents of its dustbin into a sealed bag that can hold up to 60 days of dirt and debris. The vacuum bag captures the smallest particles, down to 0.7 microns, and when it's time to change a bag, it seals automatically. This prevents a dust cloud during bag changes, making it effortless – without the risk of dust in the nose.
Thanks to iRobot OS intelligence, Roomba Combo 2 Essential can work according to customers' needs. While customers can customize and automate their own cleaning routines, the robot is also able to recommend the best cleaning times based on previous tasks. The "Clean while I'm away" feature lets Roomba Combo 2 Essential start cleaning automatically when a customer leaves home, so they can enjoy a cleaner home without having to lift a finger. Clean Map® reports show where the robot has cleaned and display details such as coverage and duration of completed tasks, giving customers peace of mind that the job was done.
